Rahul Parhi

Assistant Professor of ECE

Rahul Parhi is an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at UCSD, which he joined in 2024. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) from 2022 to 2024. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2022 at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2018.

Anıl Kamber

PhD Student

Anıl Kamber is an ECE PhD student at UCSD. He earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey. His research interests lie at the intersection of optimization theory, compressed sensing, and theoretical neuroscience.

Luke McDermott

PhD Student

Luke McDermott is a PhD student in the Machine Learning & Data Science track at UCSD's ECE department, starting in 2024. He previously worked as an ML Research Scientist at Modern Intelligence and earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from UCSD in 2023.
